What is RemaPSP?

RemaPSP is a program to remap the PSP controls. It also supports turbo (Rapid Fire!) and Macros.
It is a 3rd party playstation controller you can play with, outside.

Install Instructions for use with Devhook

  1. Copy the dh and remaps folders straight onto your psp, chose to overwrite files if asked.
    Don't worry, it isn't overwriting anything.
  2. Open the file dh/271/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf_game.txt from your psp in a text editor
  3. Around line 47, you will see something like the following:


    Add the lines:
    ms0:/dh/kd/nkthread.prx
    ms0:/dh/kd/remapsp.prx
    After the line ms0:/umdciso.prx to give the following:



    Save and eject your psp.

How to use RemaPSP with DevHook

  1. Fire up devhook and start a game (Locoroco and Tekken are good choices to see the power of RemaPSP)
  2. Once in a game, preferably at a menu or some place. Press Volume+ and Volume- at the same time to bring up the Remap selection menu
  3. Choose a remap to load with X, the included ones are described below
    defaults - Sets all the buttons to themself (Not very useful really, just an example)
    backwards - Reverses the directions of the digital and analog sticks
    macro_test - Same as defaults but with 2 included macros, press LTrigger+RTrigger to run one or X+O to run the other.
    swap_digi_ana - Swaps the digital and analog sticks, quite useful in some games!
    turbo_test - Makes all the face buttons (X, O, [], /\) be turbo! Fairly useless in tekken but still funny ;) Good in Gradius!
    locoremoto - Play LocoRoco with the psp remote! Next/Prev track to go left/right, play = split/join :)
    astonishia_story - Press /\ in Battle to skip turn, Press [] in Battle to attack.
  4. Now you can press the note button to enable/disable the remap. :)
